1. Scope

These terms apply to the use of the website www.tom-schorn.de. It is a private information site about my professional work. No goods or services are sold, no costs arise and no contract is concluded. There are therefore no general terms and conditions of sale.

2. Use of the content

You may read the content of this site, save it in your browser and print it for your own use. Any use beyond that, in particular reproduction, adaptation or publication, requires my prior written consent.

Photos showing me and screenshots of my projects may not be reused without my consent. Trademarks and logos of third parties remain subject to the rights of their respective owners.

3. Source code of my projects

The source code of the projects presented here is not governed by this page but by the licence stated in the project itself. Qurl, for example, is licensed under AGPL-3.0. The licence file in the respective repository always prevails.

4. Availability

I aim for continuous operation but do not owe it. The site may be temporarily unavailable at any time and without notice, for example due to maintenance or technical faults. There is no entitlement to availability.

5. Content and currency

The information on this site describes my background and my projects to the best of my knowledge. It is non-binding information and not a warranty of particular characteristics or results. Details about ongoing projects may change.

6. Pro bono enquiries

The pro bono page is a non-binding invitation to get in touch. An enquiry does not create any entitlement to my involvement. I decide case by case whether I take on a project and let you know.

7. Liability

I am liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical of the contract, as far as legally permissible. I accept no liability for the content of linked third-party sites; see the legal notice.

8. Applicable law

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected.

9. Changes

I may adjust these terms when the site changes. The version published here is the one that applies.
